The Gateway SwingTables Installation

The Gateway SwingTables installation is one of our favorite mixed-use destination projects. Working with the team at The Gateway in Salt Lake City, we delivered custom hand-crafted SwingTables to enhance the outdoor gathering spaces at downtown Salt Lake City’s premier dining, entertainment, and community hub. The Gateway SwingTables are now woven into everyday life at the district, giving visitors, residents, and workers a playful place to gather between meals, events, and everything in between.

Why The Gateway chose SwingTables

The Gateway SwingTables project needed to perform across a wide range of uses, from casual lunch crowds, weekend events, live music, evening nightlife and year-round programming. The SwingTable in The Gateway was made-to-order in California using weather-resistant Trex® composite and powder-coated steel framing, the same durable materials trusted across every SwingTable installation nationwide.

A high-traffic urban destination like The Gateway needs outdoor furniture that can handle constant use, seasonal weather, and the diverse demands of a community that shows up during the day and into the evening.
