The Governors Island Swing Table installation brought playful hand crafted seating to a high traffic public space, creating an instantly recognizable gathering space for visitors.
Designing Six Custom-Color Governors Island SwingTables
The Governors Island SwingTables project featured six hand-crafted SwingTables, each delivered in a different color combination. Frame colors, wood finishes, and cushion options were selected to bring visual energy to the public event setting. The combination of bright, varied colors against the Governors Island backdrop turned the installation into a destination of its own, drawing event attendees, photographers, and curious passersby throughout the day.
Every Governors Island SwingTable was made-to-order in our California workshop using weather-resistant Trex® composite and powder-coated steel framing.
